[Review]: Rimmel StayMatte foundation

Hello gorgeous!

One of the days I’ve been looking through my foundations and I found the Rimmel StayMatte foundation and I realized I haven’t used that since a few months and I completely forgot why. So… I wanted to put that on my face and than I just realized…
So here is a review of the product

It is available in 8 different shades. There is no option to choose for dry or oily skin.

I  applied it with brush, beauty blender sponge, my fingers. I don’t recommend to apply it with your fingers or a brush because I gives you a too cakey look because of it’s thick texture.

Here are a few pros and cons in my opinion:

♥  Medium coverage.
♥ Long-lasting.
♥ Easy to apply.
♥  Matte finish.
♥ Fragrance free.

♦ Emphasizes expression lines and wrinkles, leading to creasing as the day wears on.
♦ Doesn’t hold back shine.
♦ It feels heavy on your skin.
♦ Gives a cakey look.

How to: clean gold jewelry at home

Hello gorgeous!

In many cases the jewelry we have at home carry a really special significance to us. Maybe you’ve been wondering of how to clean them without causing damage. Here are a few of my tips of how to clean them, methods I use since a while.

1. Using Dish soup

  1. Put a few drops of dish soup in a bowl of warm water. Mix gently. Do not use hot or boiling water, especially if your jewelry contains precious stones.
  2. Soak the gold jewelry in the solution. Allow the jewelry to sit in the mixture for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub the jewelry with a toothbrush (or an eyebrow brush).
  4. Rinse the jewelry in running warm (not hot) water.

2. Using Baking Soda #1

  1. Mix baking soda and water until you get a pasta kind of mixture.
  2. Put a little bit of the mixture on a toothbrush and gently clean the jewelry.
  3. Allow the pasta to sit on the jewelry  for about 2-3 minutes
  4. Rinse the jewelry in running warm (not hot) water.

*Some people say that you can use toothpaste but it may scratch gold and silver. Also the chemicals that clean your teeth may leave a film on stones and gold. *

3. Using Baking Soda #2

  1. Put the jewelry in a bowl and pour over it a little baking soda after that a few drops of vinegar.
  2. Let the jewelry to sit in the mixture a few minutes.
  3. Rinse the jewelry in running warm (not hot) water.

I hope my tips were useful. Let me know what you want me to write about.

[Review]: Revlon ColorStay foundation

Hello gorgeous!

I’ve been using the Revlon ColorStay foundation for a while and I decided to do a review of it.

It is available in two ranges: for Normal/Dry Skin and for Combination/Oily Skin. It is really easy to blend but you have to be quick because it dries fast to a soft matte finish.

I tried to apply it with foundation brush, sponges, my fingers and beauty blender sponge. The best results I got were with the beauty blender and after that with another kind of sponge because it give the most natural look out of all. I don’t recommend to apply it with your fingers because as I said you have to be quick and also it doesn’t apply evenly. Using a brush the foundation has a kind of mask look.

You can’t see where I applied it after it is blended.

Here are a few pros and cons in my opinion:

♥ Provides good medium coverage for blemishes and redness, it is buildable to full coverage.
♥ Lasts several hours before fading.
♥ Comes in a wide variety of shades for many skin tones.
♥ It got an SPF 15.
♥ Now it is available even with a pump.

♦ Emphasizes expression lines and wrinkles, leading to creasing as the day wears on.
♦ Doesn’t hold back shine.

Bath bombs

Hello gorgeous!

I’ve been thinking what should I write about today so I went to take a hot bath to relax and than this idea popped in my mind: BATH BOMBS.

Probably you already know about this amazing invention. They not only make your bath water colorful but they also smell amazing so you can relax even more. You can find them in any color or smell.

I know, their price is a little bit high for what they are meant to do but if you really want to relax these are the best option you can find.

These are only a few of the large variety of bath bombs (which really look like colorful bombs).

I also have a fun DIY bath bomb idea so if you want to see it just leave me a comment and I’ll make a post about it.

Tell me what you would like me to write about in future and follow my blog to see my further posts. Xoxo

  • I’m 19 years old.
  • I just finished High School and I’m preparing for my final exams.
